Ok this isn't the actual crazy train that we went for a ride on, but it is a brother or sister to it.
We started our spring breakin' at a train museum just outside of Denver.
Vance is very interested in trains so we thought this would be a fun way for him to spend the day. I didn't really know what to expect; but it ended up being rather interesting.
I think Adam may have had more fun than Vance.
Vance just said "Choo Choo" over and over for about the first hour!
Some trains you could climb on and some you couldn't. This was a little car of some kind and you could pull the levers and climb all over it! Vance loved it!
There is actually a Coors plant in the same little town the train museum resides.
It's also the home to the Colorado School of Mines!
Here are all the boys. Our dear friends the Jardine's were kind enough to accompany us to the "museum". That red thing is a huge snow plow that clears snow from the tracks in places such as Alaska! (or Wyoming)
This was on the Galloping Goose. It was a car that they turned into a train to transport the mail when the railroads were about to go bankrupt. It's horrible to ride in, it really waddles back and forth. I was getting so sick, but Vance had fun!
At the end of the crazy train day, we were filthy and tired, but we did get some killer souvenirs.
On our trip our friends took us to Claim Jumpers and Pei Wei. I highly recommend both of those places to anyone who hasn't eaten there. I know you probably all have, but just in case you haven't, Do it!
Being from the Wyo you don't get a wide variety of restaurants to choose from.
Thank you to the Jardine's for being such great hosts and showing us
Wyomin' folk around the big city!
P.S. Before we left for spring break we acquired this large box from Adam's sister. Vance turned it into his house. He wouldn't let anyone enter, except Adam's sister. He would slam the little cardboard door if you knocked on it and you weren't Jessie. He had a great time in there. Of all his toys, it is the box that he loves!

Vance looks so tiny next to the train. That looked like a lot of fun I bet Paiglee would like something like that. And how fun that he has his own cardboard box house, how funny he won't let just anyone in.
love that picture of Adam by the Coors--he's definitely got it goin on :) lol
I used to love to play in card board boxes! so fun :)
It was a great trip! Thanks for letting us tag along! Just the mention of Pei wei makes my mouth water!!
How fun!!! That little vancy pants is sure getting big. Ezra is crazy about trains too! Maybe we will have to hit it up one of these days! We miss you.
