Secret Santa's

Dear Secret Santa's,

What a wonderful gift you have given us this holiday season. I don't know who you are and I am not going to try to find out - but I want you to know how GRATEFUL I am that you chose to be so kind. Your gift lightened my spirit and helped me realize what we should be focusing on all the time. Thanks for the boost of faith and for your act of selflessness!
We will try our best to pay it forward in the future!

Love,
the Larsen's

A ninja , a throwdown, and some sledding!!!

It's been quite a while since I've posted anything new. Vance was a ninja for Halloween. It was freezing cold so he had to wear his coat the whole time we were actually trick or treating, but he still had an excellent time!

Last week Adam and I were watching the food network - I love it when I'm pregnant - and we came across a "green chile cheeseburger throwdown" between Bobby and some talented restaurant owner in New Mexico. Bobby lost, they both looked delicious, however I think the better burger came out on top!
Adam couldn't stop thinking about it so one night he came home with a bag full of green chilies and he went to work. He grilled them and sautéed them as closely as he could to the restaurateur's directions.
They were a smash hit! Go Adam!!
We even made homemade french fries to go along. It wasn't healthy by any means - but it was delicious and our mouths were satisfied.
Bring it on Bobby Flay! If anyone gets near the Buckhorn Restaurant somewhere in New Mexico - do yourself a favor & go there!!!!
Most recently - we have been getting hit with some crazy snowstorms so we took advantage and took Vance and his buddies sledding in the mountains. They are little speed demons!
Hopefully there will be many more of those days to come!
P.S. Vance will soon be a big brother to a little brother - coming March 26th.
We are very excited!
