Splash Park & Grampa!

Vance and his "Grampa" Tom became close friends this summer. They spent many mornings enjoying breakfast together, and lots of time eating shaved ice. I was grateful for the time they got to spend together. Whenever Grampa was at work or taking a nap Vance would run around the house yelling...Grampa, in his deepest voice. It was so funny! They had many adventures but one afternoon in particular Grampa took Vance to the splash park. He wasn't sure at first, until my dad pushed uncle Kort in the water and so then it was funny! He really got into it! He was attacking the water and just laughing!

Wyoming's BIG Show!!!

We are safely back in Laramie, and I have finally had time to sit and collect myself. I then realized that I hadn't blogged in awhile so I loaded the computer with this summers events and decided to share a few.

We took Vance to his first county fair, and what better way to begin than with Wyoming's Big Show!! He didn't really care for it at first. We brought his wagon which helped but he didn't like all the crowds. (much like his mother). Anyway he took a ride on a cow skooter and we took a couple pics in the silly photo booths.
We also got to pet some all too friendly animals and take a picture with seals. By the end he was ready to go home, but he was happy. So was I, who doesn't love a GIANT bag of cotton candy. It felt like summer to me!
