Fact: He loves to make forts. He could spend hours hiding from himself in a bunch of pillows and blankets.
He watches Adam do his homework sometimes and decided that it is now cool to put pencils behind your ear. He doesn't color on anything, he just walks around with it behind his ear. When he's feeling especially scholarly he puts one behind both ears.
He is also learning to drive; don't worry not on any paved roads. We went and had a bonfire for family home evening last week and Adam let him "drive" for awhile. I was in cardiac arrest the whole time, even though we were never in danger, and Vance had a great time.
He is also the master and commander of the easel. He loves to color and paint. He has recently discovered that chalk isn't as tasty as it looks. That was a bad day, but he hasn't tried to eat it since. Lesson learned! He likes coloring with the stencils, tracing different shapes. This picture made me laugh because it looks like he's trying to recruit you to join the military or something.
WE WANT YOU!
I want to make a shout out to my brothers also. It was fun to spend all summer with them, living under the same roof again. An experience I wouldn't trade for anything, however, I look forward to never sharing a bathroom with either of them for awhile.
Seth is a big stud. I miss him not being in Laramie anymore, but I am glad he's enjoying sunny ST. George. He plays football for Dixie State.Check out his picture here.
Kort is also a big stud, almost as big as Seth already. He was my chauffeur all summer and he cracks me up. He got me up to speed on all the pop culture I was missing out on. Thanks for making me cool again Kort. Love ya!
I also thoroughly miss watching Glenn Beck 3 times a day while listening to the Savage Nation in the background. Thanks Dad!
And Last, but not least, a big thanks you to my wonderful husband. We had a great 3rd Anniversary trip to Logan this year. He is so good to me and I thoroughly enjoy my time with him.
We stayed at the Anniversary Inn in Logan. I highly recommend it as a great couples retreat!
We ate at the restaurant that catered our reception and it was sooo good. Adam even made friends with the Iron Gate Grill band.

Is Vance getting taller? He's looking a lot less like a baby..you know..now that he's not a baby anymore. Ha. What a cutie. I especially liked the pencil picture, and that one where he's driving is a good keeper.
That is pretty darn cute that vance is coping what you guys do the pencil is pretty cute. I bet Vance is going to be a really good driver by the time he turns 16. Paiglee is only practicing in a stand still car.
Great pictures! Vance is a cutie. Ah, I'd love an escape to the Anniversary Inn...
